King Charles Confronts Heckling Regarding His Brother's Epstein Links

During a public appearance to a cathedral in Staffordshire on Monday, the King was confronted by a individual who questioned him about Prince Andrew's relationship with convicted sex offender Epstein.

The man demanded to know how long the monarch had been known about his brother's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and also questioned whether he had instructed the police to "conceal" for Prince Andrew.

Amid the protest, there were throngs of well-wishers and cheers for the monarch, who was in the region for an engagement.

The Duke of York's connections with Jeffrey Epstein have been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. The royal, who gave up his titles earlier this month, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

"How long have you known about Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein? Have you asked the police to cover up for him?"

The monarch remained silent but carried on meeting fans, some of whom chanted "Long live the King". One fan can be overheard requesting him for a hug.

Another woman outside the venue was also observed telling the heckler to "leave" and to "be quiet".

Controversy Reignited by Memoir

The scandal over Prince Andrew's links to Epstein has been revived by misconduct allegations detailed in Ms. Giuffre's posthumously-published memoir.

In the memoir, Ms Giuffre says she had sexual encounters with the royal on three separate occasions, including once with Epstein and "several other minors"

Prince Andrew, who agreed to a out-of-court agreement with Ms Giuffre in 2022, has repeatedly denied any misconduct. In a previous interview, he told a news program he did not recall meeting her "ever", and that they "did not have any sort of sexual contact."

Fresh Questions Over Finances and Housing

But recently, new inquiries have been raised about how he is able to finance his lifestyle despite not being a working royal.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a nominal fee on his Windsor mansion has heightened the examination over his living arrangements - even though he made significant contributions up front, including for improvements.

The Liberal Democrats said he should be summoned front of members of parliament to give testimony about his lease of his residence.

But last Thursday, the authorities declined to give MPs time to discuss the royal's status or his residence, despite growing pressure for investigation.

The royal household has not commented on whether Prince Andrew might relocate of his current residence - or where he might reside.
